With the ship also being commanded by other players, everyone will have to work together in order to successfully navigate through the deep space and complete missions.
However, the game does offer the ability to enjoy the game alone as all of the various roles within the game can be occupied by AI except the captain as players will have to make decisions before they are able to cycle through the different roles.
